Due to an inadequate light source for its type of insert, 'Go Ape Again' on King Kong is weakly and unevenly lit during gameplay. Rocket City Pinball has designed a solution -- a custom 3D printed mount with an integrated Comet star post light, plus a unique custom lightboard cover/interface to safely tap into power.

The custom lightboard cover is designed to allow connection of alligator clips without risk of short-circuiting the pads or clips -- the cover has a built-in wall between the solder pads, and walls/grooves on the outside to prevent inadvertent contact of the clips. The cover also shields the board from accidental contact during relocation, and mutes the existing LED to eliminate light pollution under the playfield.

Available colors for the updated light are white and purple. If you want to keep the stock look (just cleaner/brighter/more even), then go with white. If you want to add a splash of color, trust me when I tell you that purple is the right choice here -- it's difficult to capture in photos, but it looks PERFECT with the surrounding pink/purple artwork.

Note: This mod is 100% reversible (but why would you?).

One of the primary uses of the lockdown bar action button on Jaws is to deploy the life ring (left outlane ball save), so now you can make it "look the part"! The Life Ring Action Button Housing is designed to replace the black plastic piece between the button & lockdown bar, and is meticulously designed with all proper keying, notching, and bottom surface angle for a perfect flush fit on the bar's angled surface.

Because the housing is keyed for positioning in the bar, you will select if you prefer the red wraps to be oriented vertically/horizontally, or at an angle. The housing is 3D printed in one continuous print with multiple colors on every layer, and is also available with real rope (twine) tucked under the wraps for a more realistic look. Please review the photos carefully before placing your order to choose your preferred configuration.

Installation is extremely easy and takes less than five minutes (see video in Installation Instructions).

Rocket City Pinball and FlipMods have teamed up to bring you the RocketFlip 'Beach Closed' shooter rod plate for Jaws!

In the film, Chief Brody purchases wood and paint and hands them off to deputy Hendricks to make 'Beach Closed' signs. Deputy Hendricks completes his assignment (as shown in the photos below), and these 3D printed shooter plates are inspired by his signs. The base is textured with grooves and is printed in white, to give the appearance of painted wood boards -- complete with small gray nails down the center -- while the black and red text finish off the warning. The black, red, and white of these shooter plates match the Jaws pinball cabinets beautifully!

COLLABORATION NOTE: Because this is a Rocket City Pinball / FlipMods collaboration, we will be offering it in both of our respective shops and websites (at the same price) for your convenience. This will allow you to purchase it from either shop and combine shipping with other items you may be purchasing from that respective modder. All proceeds will be split evenly regardless of which shop processes the purchase.

Due to an inadequate light source for its type of insert, 'Cast Again!' on Jaws is weakly and unevenly lit during gameplay.

Does that flasher bulb cover sticking out of the back wall of your Jaws pinball look goofy and out of place to you too? Rocket City Pinball has you covered, with the Amity Lighthouse Flasher Cleanup Mod!

The highly detailed 3D-printed two-piece set is designed to replace the protruding, mismatched flasher dome. It includes a coupler which mounts directly in place of the dome, and the lighthouse itself, which is designed to snugly attach to the coupler from the front. The lighthouse itself is printed in brick, clear, and black filaments, including multicolor printing on each layer for the window section! The lighthouse fully covers the large hole and sits flush against the back wall, and lights up beautifully during gameplay!

This mod fits all three versions of the game -- Pro, Premium, and LE. It does not interfere with other aftermarket Quint's Shack mods.

Note: Since a different white lighthouse is also visible in the movie, a white brick variation of this flasher mod has been made available.

Chum Line Airball Suppressor for Jaws

Many Jaws machines are suffering from wild airballs up into the top right corner of the game, due to the Chum Line plastic. The center section of this plastic is not supported from below; it sags slightly as the ball rolls over it, so as ball crosses the slot, it's low enough to ricochet off the slot edge and goes flying!

Several owners have attempted to resolve the issue by placing post rubbers, clear nubs, tubing, and other things underneath. And while these objects have been able to provide support, they also cast unsightly shadows or have visible silhouettes through the chum line plastic.

Rocket City Pinball to the rescue, with the Chum Line Airball Suppressor! The wacky-shaped piece looks like Batman's batarang mated with a set of brass knuckles -- but there are two reasons for its weirdness: 1) the curved ends nestle into the opening below the playfield for reliable, consistent placement that won't come loose ... and 2) the main wall and wall extensions precisely align with the red chum line and its harpoons -- thereby becoming invisible without shadows or silhouettes.

The Airball Suppressor is 3D printed in clear TPU -- a soft, flexible plastic. The TPU's softness prevents damage to the art where it touches the bottom surface of the chum line plastic, and its flexibility allows for slight compression where necessary to accommodate the exact fit of each individual game.

Installation is very easy and only takes 5-10 minutes. The only tools you need are a Phillips head screwdriver and a pair of tweezers or other small-tipped tool to help align washers during reinstallation.

The video in the Installation Instructions section explains the issue, demonstrates the installation process, and shows the game in action after installation:

This mod fits all versions of the game (Pro, Premium, and LE) whose chum line plastic is ~3/16" thick***.

*** IMPORTANT NOTE: the rumor (started late March 2024) that Stern is shipping games with 1/4" thick plastic is unsubstantiated, and Stern themselves have told multiple inquiring customers that there has been no change to production with respect to the chum line. ~~ If you are concerned, you should measure your plastic before you order this part! ~~ This mod is designed to fit games with a chum line plastic just under 3/16" thick (most are 0.175" - 0.180")

"Farewell and adieu to you OEM start buttons..."

This 3D printed button features seven different colors, fused together with mid-layer filament changes, to create one of Rocket City Pinball's most fun start buttons ever! Inspired by the famous movie poster (but enhanced with more shark-like colors & teeth), Jaws is taking a bite out of raised START lettering and printed on an aquatic color base of your choice. The START letters are spherically rounded and the shark (and teeth) are printed at very thin layer height to keep it smooth and pleasing to the touch.

Color recommendations:

LE - turquoise best matches the foil decals on the cabinet

Pro & Prem - light blue is an ideal match for these cabinets

Installation is easy! See installation instructions section below.

"Just like I thought... he came up with the Gulf Stream, from southern waters." These 3D printed coin reject buttons feature the license plate pulled from the digestive tract of the tiger shark ("...a whaaaaat?). The buttons are printed using mid-print filament changes, so the plate is permanently fused to the button.

Please specify one button (for exported games, or for mix & match colors) or a pair. Colored bulbs included where applicable (e.g., red, green, purple).

Installation is easy! See installation instructions below.

**Buyer is responsible to confirm their coin door uses this Suzo-Happ button type (replacement for button only in 42-0517 assembly, no housing included), as some export/reimport games may have had coin doors changed/modified.**
