Arcade / on-location games can credit up through various non-traditional means, e.g., paid location entry with all games on free play, swipe card systems, integrated cashless systems, bill collectors, etc. Some locations might switch games between coin drop and free play for tournaments or other events. In these cases, operators may want to cover the coin slots to prevent confusion -- especially from younger clientele who aren't always sure how to operate or credit the games. Locations who do utilize coin drop might experience a coin slot that jams or breaks (without immediate opportunity to repair), so an operator might want to cover one of the two available slots.

In any of the above scenarios, consider Rocket City Pinball's CoinBlockers! These are designed to fit most modern games that use the Universal Pinball Validator Door (P/N 40-0696-30) from Suzo-Happ (reference https://na.suzohapp.com/products/coin_doors/40-0696-30). CoinBlockers are designed to snugly fit over the coin slot frames, and have a textured surface finish to blend in with the finish of the door. Simply press the CoinBlocker firmly in place and the coin slots disappear! To remove, firmly grasp the CoinBlocker and pull/rock it until it pops off.

Q: Could a guest remove this?
A: Only with adequate force -- but why would they? The CoinBlocker blends in with the door and in most cases will be completely ignored. It cannot be removed with an inadvertent bump; they are very snug when installed so removal requires intent.

CoinBlockers are available in Dual-Slot style which covers both slots (ideal for free play or swipe card setups). Broken or jammed slot? Cover it in a flash (until you have time to repair it) with the single-slot style CoinBlocker. One wall on the Single-Slot version is thin enough to fit between the two slot frames. Single-Slot style can also be used on doors with wider slot spacing (e.g., 40-0707-00), or exported games with only a single slot.

Wanna get fancy? CoinBlockers can also be customized with your location's logo! Send a vectorized or layered version of your logo and it can be printed right onto your CoinBlocker. (For customized CoinBlockers, you must add one Customization Fee to your cart, regardless of the number of CoinBlockers you intend to order. This is for the time required to process the logo and integrate it into the CoinBlocker model for printing.)

Rush Topper Hardware Cleanup Kit

Much of the factory hardware (black screws, silver washers, silver nuts) clash with the plastics & artwork of the beautiful Rush topper. Rocket City Pinball has gold-colored hardware (and some silver & black hardware also) to better match the topper colors & artwork, and has meticulously gone through each of the different size and length fasteners that should be changed. All parts are an exact swap in size/length, except the screws in the nuts on the gears -- these are shorter to reduce thread protrusion for a cleaner, flush fit.

The kit includes 60 parts in gold, silver, and black, including a few extra to allow for personalization/customization to your preference. Also available is an optional oiled-rubbed copper colored plastic knob to replace the bright orange one

Testimonial from kit tester:
"The gears especially look better. The topper is really, really easy to work on for this mod. The gears come off with a single screw and the rest of the three hardware sets on each gear can be swapped at a workbench and put back on. The front face hardware all goes into tapped holes so there is no tiny backing hardware to lose. Very easy" ... except for two black screws (behind the bottom corners of the radio) that are a little more difficult to remove -- these can be replaced or left as-is at your discretion, since the radio face may require removal to access them. These may or may not be visible from the player's perspective depending on your height.

FAQ:
Q: I don't see much difference in the before & after pics, what the heck is this?
A: Look closely at the screws, nuts, and washers on the gears, on the radio, around the albums, and mounting brackets. It's amazing how much better they blend in when the colors match or complement better.

Q: Why should I pay so much for what's basically just a bag of small hardware?
A: Much of this hardware isn't common and/or isn't available in small quantities -- you'll only need about ~5-20 of each! Purchasing minimum quantity of every different type would be much more expensive. Plus, I've saved you all the time of figuring out what sizes & lengths you need, and what should go where. You're receiving a fully prepared kit and simply install it according to the instructions! Your purchase covers the cost of the hardware and the time I've spent developing the kit (and packing each one) to save you time and effort.

Q: What if I disagree with what looks good in certain places?
A: Some extra hardware is provided in this kit to allow for some customization. At the end of the day, it's your game -- so if you think something looks better with OEM hardware than with the items I've included, then just leave them out!

Q: What tools will I need?
A: Basic tools like a screwdriver, and 5/16 wrench/socket. That's it!

Rush Full Game Hardware Cleanup Kit

The silver screws, washers, and nuts totally clash with the copper/bronze/gold colors on the plastics -- so I've sourced gold-colored hardware to replace them! I've meticulously gone through each of the different size and length fasteners that I think should be changed (generally anything in/near artwork/plastics that is bronze/copper/gold in color). Most parts will be an exact swap in size/length; the few exceptions (e.g., those changing to a different length, type, or not to be changed at all) will be noted in accompanying documentation.

The full kit includes over 245 parts, including:

All the gold colored hardware needed to replace screws, nuts, & washers in visible, accessible areas where the factory hardware doesn't match the art/surroundings
23 HexSleeves (colored sleeves, 3D printed in antique brass color, which slide over existing hex spacers) pre-sized to the proper lengths
20 cylindrical spacers (3D printed in antique brass color)
Super Jackpot sign bulb housing
5 anti-ball-trap large posts (3D printed in antique brass color)
OPTIONAL: 20 skinny playfield posts (3D printed in antique brass color) to replace the OEM clear posts

As with all RCP mods, the user accepts all risks inherent with installation & use of these products. Rush Super Jackpot Cleanup Kit

We can all agree -- the OEM setup on the Rush 'Super Jackpot' sign is a little messy. The bulb sticks out way too far, there's a huge hole in the sign, and the silver colored screws/washers clash with the gold/bronze color scheme of the sign.

Clean up the look with the Super Jackpot Light Cleanup Kit, which includes:
- Custom designed 3D-printed bulb adapter fitting
- 3 gold-colored screws with lock washers and flat washers in the appropriate lengths and sizes

NOTES:

Fits all versions of the game (Pro, Premium, LE).

Rush Presto Flasher (Rabbit / Hat)

Any Rush fan will immediately recognize the significance of a rabbit in a hat, as a reference to the Presto album!

This rabbit & hat replaces the flasher dome near the end of the right plastic ramp, near the right inlane. The rabbit lights up when the flasher fires!

The Presto mod is printed in a single piece (in two colors), and the ears and facial features of the rabbit are added by hand in post-production.

Red Barchetta Interactive Road Scene

FAQ:
– Q: How do I install these, and will I need any special skills or tools? In particular, with the lit headlights? A: I have made how-to-install videos to walk you through the installation process. They very simple to install! With lit headlights, I’ve taken care of all the soldering/wirework necessary, so all you’ll need for installation are a few basic tools and the kits that I provide.

– Q: Is hardware included? A: Yes! With the road-only version, you receive 3 black screws and 2 black washers. With the road/grass version, you receive 3 long silver screws. With the lighted version of road-only or road/grass, you also receive a custom 3D printed bulb mount, special bulb, and gold screws & washers to clean up the Super Jackpot sign. The bridge requires no hardware for installation, but the lighted version includes a bulb and a zip tie. Reference installation videos for more details!

– Q: What’s the difference in the bridge colors? A: I have five different colors available — sandstone, brick, stone, marble, and gray. Gray is a flat solid-color material, whereas the other four all have dark ‘flake’ in the material to give it a more realistic/life-like look. See the photos in this listing for a closer look.

– Q: I don’t like layer lines on 3D prints, can you see the layer lines? A: If you look closely enough, sure. Are they visible from the player’s distance/perspective? Barely, if at all. I print most of my parts at very fine resolution (i.e., very thin layers) to improve their visual quality and minimize visible layer lines (which results in longer print times, of course). However, if you look closely enough you may see layer lines inherent to FDM printing. Remember, if you look closely enough at anything, you’ll find imperfections!

– Q: Why does the bridge cost so much more? A: The bridge I’ve designed has a lot of intricate detail — separate bricks, archways, uneven surfaces, etc. — and therefore takes TWENTY-TWO HOURS to print. Due to the significantly longer print time — tying up one of the printers for nearly a full day — and also for the use of additional material, the bridge necessitates a higher price.

– Q: Why does the weathering cost so much more? A: Another artistic Pinsider has offered this service, so I am making this an available option and paying him for his services. It involves my sending the bridge to him, he then takes several hours of his time to artificially ‘weather’ it by hand, and then he repacks it to ship on to you. The additional cost for the weathering covers the amount I’ve agreed to pay him per bridge, the second shipment in the process, and a little extra to cover the extra fees I will incur (that he will not).

– Q: Do you warranty this? A: I warranty all of my products and will replace them for you if they ever break, EXCEPT for the car model. By purchasing this mod, you acknowledge that the car itself is a true model with breakable parts, and by putting it inside a pinball machine you accept the risk of damage by airball, etc. The placement in the game is such that getting hit with an airball is unlikely, but not impossible. Again, the cars are in limited supply (and aren’t exactly cheap), so I will not replace a damaged car. I will replace a damaged bridge, road, or sign if required.

Rush Coin Reject Buttons

Rocket City Pinball is a huge Rush fan! Several different versions of the 3D coin reject buttons are available, representing various Rush albums, including Signals (hydrant), Presto (rabbit & hat), Counterparts (bolt & nut), and Hold Your Fire (red orbs).feature "The Object" from Led Zeppelin's 'Presence' album.

Item includes one coin reject button in your choice of album icon & base color -- purchasing them individually allows you to mix & match designs. Replaces buttons in 42-0517 assembly.

Color recommendations:

Purple, pink, red, or yellow base for Pro cabinet
Purple for Premium cabinet
Tangerine for LE cabinet
'Album versions' - use colors representing the album covers:
- Hold Your Fire - dark red orbs on red base
- Signals - red hydrant on green base
- Presto - rabbit/hat on clear/white base
- Counterparts - bolt/nut on blue base

Rush Signals flasher scene (Dalmatian / Hydrant)

Any Rush fan will immediately recognize the significance of a dalmatian and a fire hydrant, as a reference to the Signals album cover!

The Signals mod replaces the flasher dome near the S-curve in the right plastic ramp, and includes a 3D-printed hydrant (thanks to angrysquirrel / Mike Smith for the great model which has been further modified to accommodate this mod), a pre-manufactured resin dalmatian model, and a custom-designed 3D-printed mount. The hydrant is printed in translucent red so it lights up when the flasher fires.

Five different mount options are available, since folks have different preferences. See pictures attached to this listing and videos below:

Grass mount, with a contoured/wavy surface to look more natural, all around the hydrant and under the dog. This is the best representation of the Signals album cover.
Silver mount, printed with shiny metallic filament (plastic, not actual metal), to match the metallic features in the game.
Brass mount, printed with a shiny metallic antique-brass colored filament (plastic, not actual metal), to match the brass/copper colors throughout the game
Hybrid Silver/Grass mount, with the top level (around the hydrant) in metallic silver, with the lower level (dog platform) in the contoured grass.

The infamous red star of the Solar Federation shines through a black sparkling starfield, topped with a triple-colored START text in a 2112-esque font.

To better match the LE cabinet art, LE buttons' black starfield is replaced with antique brass color, and the letter coloring includes copper and gold!
