The gigantic sign (and its mounting bracket) in the back of Transformers MTMTE is an abomination! It's WAY too big, almost completely blocks the Autobot symbol and part of the Ark on the back wall, and throws off the balance/contrast with the Decepticon side. In addition, it has that hideous bracket which raises it even higher; this bracket doesn't appear in the TF promotional photos so must have been added late in production when they discovered the sign alone was a ball trap. This is a terrible setup and needs to be corrected.

Restore beauty to this area of your playfield with Rocket City Pinball's Teletraan I mod! This mod fully replaces the entire bracket, sign, lightboard, and wire harness. Included with the kit is the Teletraan I with preinstalled lights, a custom wire harness to be fully plug & play, and special hardware cleanup components including three hex spacers, a custom wire hider, and black & gold screws & washers.

The side monitors (Lock 1, Lock 2) light up solid (light blue) when balls are locked. When you begin multiball, the side monitors turn off, and the center MB monitor lights up in an animated blue & white! (Per customer request, side monitors can also be configured to light up in green.)

Here's a look at it in action:

[embed]https://youtu.be/OjoR3cO1D6Y?si=qBijld9cMUliMZW8[/embed]

Installation is easy but does have several steps. Please follow the DIY procedure below! (Note: This video was produced with an earlier draft of the Teletraan, so the final product is improved beyond what you see in the DIY!)

Special thanks to savall21 for the excellent model that served as a starting point for this mod; the model then required heavy modification and enhancement to be integrated into my intended final design.

Hide that ugly opto sensor and its unsightly wires! Stern decided to position this sensor directly in the player’s field of view — make it disappear into the background with this custom cover, 3D printed in a shiny steel color that blend in with the surrounding ramps & brackets. The cover is printed with some curvature to add to its shine, plus the fastener hole for the screw allows the screw head to sit flush with the surface for a more pleasing appearance.

Installation is very easy and requires only a Phillips-head screwdriver (magnetic tip preferred). Simply remove the silver screw on the opto pad, position the opto cover, and reinstall the screw -- it's that easy! See Installation Instructions section for a video guide.

This 3D start button for Transformers consists of a single continuous 3D print with mid-print filament changes so the entire pattern is fused together.

The 2011 version used a smaller, recessed start button, so this item includes a full housing assembly that covers up the counterbore in the cabinet for a clean installation of the new, larger button. (See pics.)

The 2026 version uses a large version of the start button, so only the button cap will be included; housing is not required.

Available in Autobot (“Roll Out”) or Decepticon (“Rise Up”), in the listed translucent base color options. Red and purple buttons include a colored bulb matching the button base, for a deeper/richer color when lit.

It’s easy to install — NO SOLDERING REQUIRED! See installation videos for DIY instructions.
