Pokemon Colored Post Kit

The details matter! In addition to the awful clear post on the back wall, most of the red posts clash too much in certain areas of the game -- particularly the grassy area and the blue areas left of the arena. Also, the lower area (slingshots etc.) has pokeball art and the white/black/red motif -- so how about "pokeposts" to match?

As usual, there's a little personal taste involved, so Rocket City Pinball's Pokemon Colored Post Cleanup Kit comes in two variations:
- Complete kit: RCP's recommended colored posts & Pokeposts, green lane guides, black post for back wall, and enough extra Pokeposts to replace any of the other colors (if you decide you like the Pokepost better during installation)
- Pokeposts-only kit: Full set of Pokeposts (i.e., none of the other colors), plus green lane guides, and black post for back wall

The photos attached to this listing indicate the recommended locations & colors. No further installation guide is available; any disassembly required for access is to be determined by the end user.

Special thanks to Pin-Tweak for volunteering to help test the installation! More photos coming soon.

On Venom Premium & LE, the Doppelganger and his big ol' booty cause two major issues:

1) It completely obstructs the player's view of the right orbit's primary insert -- several times I was looking for the next mini-mode shot and couldn't find it!
2) The right-most dangly target can get caught in the shooter lane. Stern tried to prevent this by adding a small plastic/acrylic under there, but it's not tall enough.

Rocket City Pinball has you covered with some simple but necessary solutions!

Problem #1 is addressed with a shatterproof mirror on a 3D-printed support, which mounts on the side of the lane divider. It has curved mounting tabs to allow you adjust its position/angle best suited for your height and/or playing position. Once properly positioned, it will reflect the insert in the mirror so now you can see it, while still having plenty of room for the ball to pass beneath it and around the orbit.

Problem #2 is addressed with an improved design laser-cut acrylic, adding the extra height needed to prevent the dangly target from swinging into the shooter lane.

Installation video contains more details and DIY instructions.

Note: Premium/LE only; the Pro does not have the doppelganger mechanism.

Purchase includes a single button, allowing you to mix & match base colors, or to accommodate an exported game with one to three slots. For GoldenEye, use the Sega/DE style buttons; for modern Bond games, use the Suzo-Happ style. Reach out if you're not sure if your buttons match these designs!

Get started catching Pokémon with a poké ball 3D start button from Rocket City Pinball! This representation of a poké ball features smooth curvature, with natural depth around the black seam and a raised center button. RCP's unique design utilizes six different color filaments, resulting in a button that looks crisp red & white while unlit, and still glows a beautiful bright red & white when lit. Mid-layer filament changes permanently fuse all components together.

Special thanks to Fuzzy_Wafflz whose poke ball model served as a jumping-off point; major modifications were then required to create the finished RCP design.

I always loved the janky sign at Beetlejuice's gravesite, and given that's where the troubles with Beetlejuice 'start' (har har, see what I did there), it seemed appropriate to work it into my start button design! The gravesite sign & tombstone use the correct BETELGEUSE spelling, so I retained that in the design -- but I took some liberty and made it BETELSTART instead. The inconsistent pattern of the red & yellow bulbs is captured around the circumference of the button.

The button is available in two different versions. Both versions include a housing assembly (to size up from the small button Spooky uses).

- The first version includes a border/frame that adds the marquee style arrow. This border is affixed to the button assembly housing, and is designed to sit flush against the face of the cabinet. The arrow design includes overlap into the frame, for additional strength and also sits against the cabinet.
- The second version simply omits the border & arrow and is just the button with a black housing. While this version is an incomplete representation of the gravesite sign, it's simply an additional option available for personal preference.

These 3D coin reject buttons feature the ancient temple tower complete with shiny gong! The model's details and strategic print patterns give the tower blocks their 'engraved/carved' appearance, like the tower in the game. In a fun reference to the buttons' function, the gong's design shows '25c' (cents) instead of a Kong face. Mid-layer filament changes allow for full color integration on the designs and fuses them together as one single continuous print.

World Poker Tour uses a smaller, recessed start button so this custom 3D-printed start button includes a housing to replace the original button and cover up the counterbore in the cabinet. The button is designed to look just like the poker chips on the cabinet, with a WPT-esque logo in the center. The center clear section and the logo light up!

Pre-assembled in complete housing assembly, fully replaces the small, recessed start button and covers the counterbore in the cabinet.

Arcade / on-location games can credit up through various non-traditional means, e.g., paid location entry with all games on free play, swipe card systems, integrated cashless systems, bill collectors, etc. Some locations might switch games between coin drop and free play for tournaments or other events. In these cases, operators may want to cover the coin slots to prevent confusion -- especially from younger clientele who aren't always sure how to operate or credit the games. Locations who do utilize coin drop might experience a coin slot that jams or breaks (without immediate opportunity to repair), so an operator might want to cover one of the two available slots.

In any of the above scenarios, consider Rocket City Pinball's CoinBlockers! These are designed to fit most modern games that use the Universal Pinball Validator Door (P/N 40-0696-30) from Suzo-Happ (reference https://na.suzohapp.com/products/coin_doors/40-0696-30). CoinBlockers are designed to snugly fit over the coin slot frames, and have a textured surface finish to blend in with the finish of the door. Simply press the CoinBlocker firmly in place and the coin slots disappear! To remove, firmly grasp the CoinBlocker and pull/rock it until it pops off.

Q: Could a guest remove this?
A: Only with adequate force -- but why would they? The CoinBlocker blends in with the door and in most cases will be completely ignored. It cannot be removed with an inadvertent bump; they are very snug when installed so removal requires intent.

CoinBlockers are available in Dual-Slot style which covers both slots (ideal for free play or swipe card setups). Broken or jammed slot? Cover it in a flash (until you have time to repair it) with the single-slot style CoinBlocker. One wall on the Single-Slot version is thin enough to fit between the two slot frames. Single-Slot style can also be used on doors with wider slot spacing (e.g., 40-0707-00), or exported games with only a single slot.

Wanna get fancy? CoinBlockers can also be customized with your location's logo! Send a vectorized or layered version of your logo and it can be printed right onto your CoinBlocker. (For customized CoinBlockers, you must add one Customization Fee to your cart, regardless of the number of CoinBlockers you intend to order. This is for the time required to process the logo and integrate it into the CoinBlocker model for printing.)

Wet-looking tendrils from the Upside Down will absorb your the flasher domes! These vines are 3D-printed in a sparkly black filament to give it a moist, glistening look.

Personally, I don't think the OEM red domes are the optimal color choice in this game, so the Tendrils are available with alternate color domes included, like clear/white, purple, or yellow. Get creative and decide what you like best!

To install, simply peel the backing off the included double-sided tape, place over the dome in your preferred orientation, and press against the dome to stick on.

Pricing: each variation includes tendril vines for ONE dome. Please order your desired quantity.
