On Venom Premium & LE, the Doppelganger and his big ol’ booty cause two major issues:
1) It completely obstructs the player’s view of the right orbit’s primary insert — several times I was looking for the next mini-mode shot and couldn’t find it!
2) The right-most dangly target can get caught in the shooter lane. Stern tried to prevent this by adding a small plastic/acrylic under there, but it’s not tall enough.
Rocket City Pinball has you covered with some simple but necessary solutions!
Problem #1 is addressed with a shatterproof mirror on a 3D-printed support, which mounts on the side of the lane divider. It has curved mounting tabs to allow you adjust its position/angle best suited for your height and/or playing position. Once properly positioned, it will reflect the insert in the mirror so now you can see it, while still having plenty of room for the ball to pass beneath it and around the orbit.
Problem #2 is addressed with an improved design laser-cut acrylic, adding the extra height needed to prevent the dangly target from swinging into the shooter lane.

Note:Â Premium/LE only; the Pro does not have the doppelganger mechanism.
