I always loved the janky sign at Beetlejuice’s gravesite, and given that’s where the troubles with Beetlejuice ‘start’ (har har, see what I did there), it seemed appropriate to work it into my start button design! The gravesite sign & tombstone use the correct BETELGEUSE spelling, so I retained that in the design — but I took some liberty and made it BETELSTART instead. The inconsistent pattern of the red & yellow bulbs is captured around the circumference of the button.

The button is available in two different versions. Both versions include a housing assembly (to size up from the small button Spooky uses).

– The first version includes a border/frame that adds the marquee style arrow. This border is affixed to the button assembly housing, and is designed to sit flush against the face of the cabinet. The arrow design includes overlap into the frame, for additional strength and also sits against the cabinet.
– The second version simply omits the border & arrow and is just the button with a black housing. While this version is an incomplete representation of the gravesite sign, it’s simply an additional option available for personal preference.
